Coaching Opportunities

St Louis Fusion is looking to grow!!!  To do that we need help, but not just any help.  We need help from people who have a passion for the game.  Could you be one of those people?  If you think so then read on.

St Louis Fusion Volleyball Club is dedicated to: advancing the personal and athletic development of youth through the pursuit of excellence in volleyball; fostering a sense of community throughout the Club; and promoting leadership in all Club members. As a club our goal is to create and support a program that has a profoundly positive effect on young athletes within the context of competitive volleyball.

We help young athletes develop "life" skills by teaching them to set difficult, but achievable goals. We assist young athletes to achieve these goals by fostering in them and in ourselves a personal commitment to support each other through positive encouragement and work as a team to build character, self-esteem and a winning attitude, which requires diligence, perseverance and discipline. We recognize that coaches, athletes, parents and members all benefit from being committed to a progressive club that has a continuity of purpose and that pursues excellence.

We have openings for coaches for 14U, 15U and 18U.  We pay expenses and we also offer a stipend.    We would prefer those who have played the game but we also recognize that many coaches come to the game later in life and have never played competitively. We will assist you in finding a gym to practice and will also assist you in all administrative functions, from ordering uniforms to entering tournaments to creating a budget.

If you don't know if you're ready to take on a team by yourself we would also like to talk to you about being an assistant for one of the teams.
